Die Erfolge in den internationalen Wettbewerben der letzten fünf Spielzeiten entscheiden über die Vergabe der internationalen Startplätze. Hier ziehen also die Vertreter eines Landes an einem Strang.
Für die einzelnen Kontinente werden getrennte Wertungen vorgenommen.

Berechnung:
Für einen Sieg im Europapokal gibt es zwei, für ein Unentschieden einen Punkt. Für das Erreichen des Viertel- und Halbfinals sowie der Endspiele in allen Europapokalwettbewerben wird jeder Mannschaft ein zusätzlicher Punkt pro Runde gutgeschrieben. Für das Erreichen der Champions League gibt es außerdem drei Zusatzpunkte. Die in den CL- und IIFA-Qualifikationsrunden erzielten Punkte werden halbiert.
Die von den Mannschaften eines Verbandes pro Spielzeit erzielten Punkte werden addiert und durch die Anzahl der an den Europapokal-Wettbewerben teilnehmenden Vereine des Verbandes dividiert. Punkte werden nur für tatsächlich ausgetragene Spiele vergeben.
